BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE BDA

Individual (£5.00 per year)

Full membership of the Black Development Agency is open to individuals from the Black communities living or working in Bristol, over18, who are interested in furthering the work of the Agency. The term Black communities is defined as African, African-Caribbean, Asian, Chinese and Other Minority Ethnic people who share a common experience of discrimination on account of their colour or “racial” origin.

Organisations (£20.00 per year)

Any Black led voluntary or Community sector organisation, the object of which are not inconsistent with the objects of the Black Development Agency, and which supports the object of the Black Development Agency shall be eligible for affiliation to the Agency and shall on being accepted as an affiliate be termed a member organisation. Only 1 representative from a member organisation will be eligible to vote.

Associate Membership (£30.00 per year)

Associate membership of the Black Development Agency shall be open to individuals and statutory, independent, private sector bodies/organisations, which are interested in furthering the said work and are not eligible to be full members. Associate members shall not be entitled to vote.
