Our Mission
Enabling a sustainable Black Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector.
Black Development Agency empowers Black and Minority Ethnic communities by building up the skills, ability and capacity to enable a sustainable Black Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise Sector.
Our Aims
- To support and engage in the regeneration of Bristol, which in particular benefits BME & other disadvantaged Communities.
- To join with others in taking a lead role in tackling social exclusion.
- To act as a catalyst, exemplar and representational organisation for BVCS organisations.
- To support and develop potential and existing BVCSES, providing advocacy, advice and information, networking opportuntiies, representation, finance and fundraising; and ensuring access to quality training provision.
- To provide a high quality support services for a more empowered, active and sustainable Black Voluntary and Community and Social Enterprise Sector (BVCSES) in Bristol and West of England.
